Why is religion like addiction?

 

Different Religions 

Religion is one of the most sentimental, sensitive and strongest questions in the whole world. Religion is the need of human beings. Some are theist and some are atheist. World Data suggests about 79-80% are theist but in contrast 10-13% are atheist across the world.

Religion ( dharma) , Wealth (artha), Desire( kama), Salvation ( moksha) are the four ultimate goals of all humans.

The birth and death cycle continues in the universe. And the humans want to become free from this birth and death cycle. 

The soul travels from one body to another body, or in other words it is said that the soul travels over 84 Lakh yonis/bodies to get to the human body because it is thought that the human body is the last door to attaining liberation and moksha. 

The question arises why today’s generation are strongly attracted towards Religion?

1 . Today's people are alone

2 . They have pressure of exams ,jobs , competition , diseases , kidnapping, accidents ,sadness ,rush life, hates etc 

3 . peace 

4 . Can be high superstition 

5 . If someone has lost his/her beloved ones instead he she will worship their gods.They are not going to hate, forget , angry with god.but they accept it as nature. This shows how a person loved his god even after receiving life time pain and hurt from the god.

6 . People are getting non curable diseases instead they are loving their god

7 . Someone lost their lives while going to temples , Masjids , Gurudwara Churches etc but still people love their gods.

8 . someone is badly abused ,but if anyone abuses or makes negative comments on their gods ,he/ she will become violent. 

I mean to say a human can tolerate abuses on them ,even on their father and mother but can't tolerate the abuse on his gods.

9 . A person is poor but he will try to offer his rice to god. 

All religious books mention that our gods love us but I think that the people love more than his god . People have more love and deep faith so they love their god instead of losing their beloved ones.

Side effects of religion:-

1 . The superstition increases on next level

2 . Small children are getting diksha and becoming monks

3 . Children are sacrificing their whole lives for religion 

4 . Small and young aged people are leaving their houses ,parents , families and joining the saints and monks groups.

5 . Quitting their highly qualified jobs.

6 . Leaving their parents alone even in old age.

7 . Not interested in marriage

8 . They are dependent on only a single book. Dependency on a single book is dangerous because they will know only a single book of knowledge. They are not going to trust another book.

9 . Today religion and religious acts have become also a status symbol. People are wasting litres of milks, fruits, flowers, oils, ghees etc in the name of god.

In 2026 ,we are polluting our holy Ganga by pouring litres of milk in it in the name of religion and worship.

10 . Too many flowers and fruits are degrading even in the temple campus.

11 . We are not drinking water to cows but instead we are pouring milk and water in the temples. The poor animals are helpless. We never feed them but we are wasting fruits, sweets and foods .

I am not against religion. I love my lovely sanatan but there should be some changes in the process of worship and thoughts.

People’s minds become possessed . Their possessed minds are taken advantage of and exploited by machiavellies. 

Example- Forceful conversions, sexual harassment, rape , Baptise them, mind wash , threatening , human trafficking, sent into human flesh trade, human organs trafficking, drugs, missing , mass scale murder and body destroyed etc.

It is happening in all religions not in a single religion. 

Today's another problem has all started. Some are becoming Baba and Devi and deceiving innocent people in the name of help. They give philosophies on not being involved in the materialistic world but they himself/ herself are becoming richer, having expensive cars,private planes, body gourds ,animal skins products, Bovine skin products etc.

Innocent people are exploited by them.

Today's Babas and devis have currently 2 Lakshs crores of properties. Lands and houses are sometimes snatched and donated by innocent people to them. Innocent and helpless people are badly exploited by them.

Governments are also using religion as a vote bank. Instead of making worship place ,we should focus on our Education , infrastructure , Technical advancements, skill development , Research field, advancements and researches in medical technology etc

One of the other biggest problems in our country is undoubtedly the Caste. Caste is also the major issue of our societies through which people feel outsider in their country. Bharat is for all not for a single caste, race or sex. The people who are exploited by caste are also converted and get easily mind washed.

Religion is for all. We all are equal. We are

 human beings. We are one.
